The Piece

The Veranne is a solid-wood barrel planter with a rustic, farmhouse character. Cut in a trough shape and raised on short feet, it is built from carbonised timber staves and bound with dark metal banding — a warm, vintage piece ready to be filled with seasonal colour.

The Setting

Compact enough for a windowsill, shelf, table or step, the Veranne suits a bright spot indoors or a sheltered position outdoors. Its scorched-wood tone pairs naturally with greenery, stone and terracotta, bringing a relaxed, country feel to a display.

Design & Finish

Each planter is made from solid wood in a carbonised (scorched) finish that deepens the grain, and is reinforced with dark metal straps at each end for a sturdy, traditional look. Available in two sizes — small and large — so you can group them or place them where space allows.

Planting & Placement

Ideal for succulents, herbs, flowers and trailing plants. Add a liner or drop a nursery pot inside to manage moisture, and stand on a firm, level surface. For the longest life outdoors, keep in a sheltered spot and allow excess water to drain away.
