The Piece

The Alvenna is carved from natural white onyx — a luminous, softly translucent stone prized for its milky glow and delicate veining. Each sculptural, stacked form is turned from a solid block, so every piece carries its own one-of-a-kind pattern of cloud-like markings. It is less a vase than a small piece of stone sculpture.

The Setting

Turned and polished from solid white onyx, each piece has real weight, a smooth cool surface and the stone’s natural translucency — it catches and softly diffuses light. Choose from three sculptural silhouettes: a low wide pedestal, a stepped column, and a tall stacked column. Because onyx is natural, tone, veining and translucency vary from piece to piece.

Styling & Use

Alvenna is designed for dried and faux arrangements. Onyx is porous, so keep the interior dry and use a slim liner or test tube if displaying fresh stems briefly. Style minimally to let the stone lead. Flowers and stems are not included.

• Lift rather than drag and place on a stable, level surface — the stone is heavy and can chip
