The Piece

The Marlenne is a footed pedestal vase carved from natural marble, with a slender cylindrical body raised on a turned stone foot. Each piece carries the unrepeatable veining of real marble — no two are identical — giving it the quiet, gallery-like weight of a genuine stone object rather than a moulded imitation.

The Setting

Substantial and tactile, Marlenne anchors a console, mantel, dining table or shelf with understated luxury. It suits refined, contemporary and hotel-inspired interiors, and the natural stone pairs beautifully with warm woods, linen and brass. Style it with dried pampas, bleached grasses or a few dramatic preserved branches, or leave it bare as a sculptural centrepiece.

Design & Finish

Turned and ground from solid marble through a part-hand, part-machine process, the vase has a smooth, cool surface and a weighted, stable base. Choose from three natural colourways — classic black-and-white, warm red-and-white (rosso), and a bold monochrome marble — each in two sizes. Because the stone is natural, the exact pattern, veining and tone vary from piece to piece.

Styling & Use

Marlenne is designed for dried and faux arrangements. Keep the interior dry and avoid prolonged standing water, as natural marble is porous — use a slim liner or test tube if you wish to display fresh stems briefly. Its weight keeps it stable even with tall, top-heavy stems. Flowers and stems are not included.

Care Guide

• Dust with a soft, dry cloth; wipe with a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately — marble is porous
• Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners (lemon, vinegar, scourers), which can etch or dull the stone
• Keep the interior dry; use a liner for any fresh stems and wipe up spills promptly
• Lift rather than drag, and place on a stable, level surface — the stone is heavy
