The Piece

Sorrelle is a sculptural table lamp built from two simple forms: a wide, gently tilted dome shade poised on a short stem above a slim cylindrical base. The shade sits lower on one side, so the lamp reads differently from every angle and casts its light down and across the surface below.

The Setting

At 45 cm tall with a 39 cm shade, Sorrelle has the presence to anchor a sideboard, console or desk, yet stays slender enough for a generous bedside table. In matte black it brings a crisp graphic outline to pale, pared-back rooms; in polished rose gold it adds warmth and a soft reflective sheen to calmer, neutral schemes.

Design & Finish

The shade and base are made from iron, finished either in matte black or in a plated rose gold. Two E27 lamp holders sit beneath the shade, directing light downwards so the glow gathers beneath the brim rather than into the eye. Choose warm white light for a relaxed evening mood, or cool white for a brighter, crisper light.

Use & Placement

Sorrelle is supplied with two LED bulbs in your chosen light colour and a UK plug on a 1.5 m cable, and is operated by a button switch. Place it on a stable, level surface near a socket, with the shade clear of curtains and soft furnishings.
